Who's Who
Gloddaeth Team

Pete GaskellPeter Gaskell

Pete was born and brought up in Somerset. He desired for many years to be a doctor in Africa and qualified medically from Bristol University in pursuit of this. However, since 2003, he has been ordained and working for Glod. He finds 'living ‘up north’ provides many opportunities for his love of climbing.

Dom TaylorDom Taylor

Dom joined the Glod staff team from FOCUS, the US equivalent of Titus Trust, where he ran schools work in Boston and camps on Martha’s Vineyard. It wasn’t glamorous enough, so he headed back to the sunny North West, where he grew up as a Glod camper at King’s School, Macclesfield, then an assistant leader and leader while at New College, Oxford. He met his wife, Anna, at Glod's Easter Revision Week when they were 17! They have two children – Arabella and Oliver. They all love music, Man City, F1 and Peppa Pig.

Mary AllanMary Allan

Having tricked Durham University into giving her a theology degree, Mary moved to Doncaster for three years to work as a youth worker at a local church. This has resulted in a passionate love of Yorkshire and a dodgy accent. After a period back in her home town she has moved to York.

Sharon CrosslandSharon Crossland

Sharon joined the staff team in 2009. She was born in Durham. After living and working for the last three years 'down south' she is very excited to be moving back to the North where she no longer has to speak in her posh telephone voice. She lives in Manchester and spends her spare time doing various sports (badly!).

Helen WinnHelen Winn

Helen joined the staff team as administrator in July 2010. Having graduated from Durham University she returned to the Wirral where she was born and raised to teach at Birkenhead School. Her move to work for Glod has meant a move to Manchester. She enjoys photography and watersports.
